Treatment of Epidural Hematoma of Senior Hemophilia A patient after Epidural Spinal Block - A Case Report -

Abstract
The male patient of 74-year-old, There was no bleeding tendency on the history of the past and family history, but epidural hematoma occured after regional spinal anesthesia. Lower extremity paralysis with abdominal pain and radiating pain in lower extremity arised. In nine days after regional spinal anesthesia, decompression carried out but complete paraplegia accurs next day. After operation, Hemophilia A was diagnosed. Although Hemophilia A is genetic disease, mild type is not diagnosed until an adult and spontaneous bleeding patient is cautiously evaluated. If he was able to previously diagnosed, the factor 8 clotting factor was supplemented before operation then rebleeding was Prevented after surgery in this case.
